Routine Appointments
Routine Appointments with GPs are now arranged directly by the GPs themselves. If you wish to see a GP, please call and speak to a receptionist – they will arrange telephone chat with a Doctor, who will then arrange an appointment in person, by phone or by video. If the matter is urgent, you will be seen the same day, wherever possible.
Most appointments are for 10-15 minutes. More time may be needed if you have several problems to discuss or need a complex examination such as an ECG or a cervical smear. If you are not sure how long you need, please discuss it with our receptionist.
If more than one member of the family wants to see the doctor or the nurse, please make a separate appointment for each person.
You can now make and cancel appointments, contact the surgery if you have a query, order a repeat prescription and view full details of your medical record including results, documents and consultation details all online. this means that you can do it at a time to suit you without having to call the surgery.
