New Patient Registration
We welcome new patients to the practice that live within the practice area. You can register at either of our surgeries in Bentham or Ingleton.
One person can register for the whole family but it is essential to bring proof of identity for everyone over the age of 15 who wants to register with us. This is in line with NHS policy.
Dispensary
If you live more than a mile from one of the chemist’s shops in High Bentham, Ingleton or Caton, you can register to collect your prescribed medication from the practice.
This means you can pick up your medication at the surgery or we can arrange for your medication to be delivered to pick up points in all the main villages in the practice area.
Of course if you register with us as a dispensing patient, you can still use any chemist to make up a prescription from us.
New Patient Medical Check Up
We recommend that every new patient has a health check at the surgery. If you have any on-going health problems it helps us to understand what they are and advise you how we can help. If you are well, then we can advise on all aspects of healthy living. The receptionist will be able to tell you more and make appointments for you and your family with one of our practice nurses.
Practice Area
We cover an area of nearly 400 square miles, at the south west corner of the Yorkshire Dales that includes Ingleborough, Whernside, and the Ribblehead viaduct.
The map on the Contact Us page shows the area where our patients live. We cannot accept patients who live outside the area because home visits take too long. If you move outside the area we ask you to register with a practice nearer to your new home.
