If patient wouldlike their baby at Airedale Hospital patients need to ring 01535 292411to register their pregnancy with Airedale and make their first bookingappointment at Settle Health Centre with Claire – this will be face to facearound 8 weeks usually

If patient wouldlike their baby at Royal Lancaster/Kendal/Barrow etc they also ringAiredale on 01535 292411 to register their pregnancy with Airedale because theywill see Airedale community midwife at Settle Health Centre for antenatalappointments but they also need to SELF REFER via Royal Lancaster website forbirth there

If thepatient is having their baby at RLI Claire would do a booking appointment overthe telephone at around 8-10 weeks and then they would have their face to facebooking appointment along with dating scan on the same day at Royal LancasterInfirmary at 12 weeks

Postnatal care

Claire willsee the ladies at home with their babies following discharge from bothhospitals unless they live outside of out North Yorkshire catchment ie in Wray– these ladies will be see Claire for antenatal care but the Lancastercommunity midwives for their postnatal care following birth.
